Available for national travelling (up to 70%). Sales Director will report directly to the Country Manager.

Main responsibilities:


  • Receivables, Turnover, ASP, Gross Margins, etc
  • Sales vs forecast, stock level – together with Logistic Department;
  • Direct involvement in setting yearly budgets and strategies at national level together with the Marketing
  • Department and Country Manager;

Customers & Sales team:

  • Sales team training on KAM concepts; Periodic evaluation of KAM process status.
  • Preparation with in the Sales team of Key Account Plans in the territory; Double visits to the key customers;
  • Support to the sales team on customer level, by offering feedback and recommendation on specific sales action;
  • Monitor and lead the activity of sales representatives in the field;
  • Motivation of the sales team by enthusiasm and positive work environment;
  • Recruitment process; Coaching and Training at Sales team level; organizing the sales team based on potential criteria and resources available;
  • Setting annual individual targets and bonus schemes for the sales team members;
  • Appraisal process of Sales Representatives and continuous performances evaluation; defining the needs of specialized training program for the sales team members at national level;
  • CRM
  • Keeping the balance between achievement of the national KPIs and the relationships between team members;

Sales strategy:

  • Prepare and implement sales strategies on distributor channel;
  • Adjusting and adapting sales strategy to follow the market changes and company needs within Ceva Romania;
  • Implement Marketing actions together with the Marketing Team;

Candidate Ideal Profile:

  • 2 years of proven experience in consultative selling within Pharma industry;
  • University degree in veterinary medicine is a plus;
  • Upper level of English;
  • Clean driving license;
  • Excellent computer literacy - MS Office, Email, Internet;
  • Motivated, a positive team player and show a high degree of customer focus;
  • Communication skills; negotiation skills, collaborative spirit, proactive attitude, customer oriented, problem solving oriented
  • Technical skills – to have the ability to understand the technical characteristics of the products relating these to customers’ specific needs
  • Flexible with good time management skills
